MR Thumpercross Series Maiing List How To Guide.

There are at present 2 mailing lists to which you can subscribe both are hosted at xtoad.net. If you are unfamiliar with e-mail mailing lists please read the quick guide below. Alternatively Subscribe online from the Mailing List Page

1. Tx-Chat@thumpercross.com This is the Open community list, anyone with an interest may subscribe and also send messages to the list. This list is not moderated and in theory you can say what you want, no one controls which messages are sent to the list. We do operate an acceptable use policy.
   
2. Tx-News@thumpercross.com This is the list where "official" announcements are made to. All messages posted to this list are approved by the Thumpercross Organisers. This way you can be confident that the information is correct. 

To Subscribe to the mailing lists simply send a blank E-Mail message to the following addresses

1. tx-chat-request@thumpercross.com subject subscribe
2. tx-news-request@thumpercross.com subject subscribe

To send messages to the list simply send an email to either

1. tx-chat@thumpercross.com
2. tx-news@thumpercross.com

To unsubscribe simply send a blank email to the following email addresses

1. tx-chat-request@thumpercross.com subject unsubscribe
2. tx-news-request@thumpercross.com subject unsubscribe

Mailing Lists a Quick Guide.

A mailing list is simply a redistribution mechanism for email. If you know how to send email and you have an email address then you can participate. If you send a message to a mailing list them everyone who subscribes to that list will be emailed a copy of your email. If you subscribe to a mailing list then you will recieve a copy of every message sent to the list.

You send messages to everyone on the list by sending an email to the group address. If you want to reply to the messages that you receive simply reply to the message.  

You should be able to unsubscribe easily to any mailing list and also should be asked to confirm that you do indeed wish to recieve mail from the list.

The Thumpercross Lists Acceptable Use Policy Key Points:

1. No Spam, No Adult themes, No Swearing
2. No Commercial Propositioning. 
3. No Poaching.    

 We think it is OK if you want to sell Bikes Spares and the like to the list. However we do reserve the right to limit or restrict any activity on the list without notice or recourse.
